<p>PURPOSE:To easily detect the tail of a last record on a tape by detecting whether a video signal is recorded or not through a video head. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape 2 is loaded and fed fast to detect the tail 3 of a record through the video head 1 on the basis of whether the video signal is recorded or not. Then the running direction of the tape 2 is inverted and the tape is stopped after being run by specific length to get ready for following recording. Thus, the tail of the last record on the tape is detected easily.</p> |
