<p>PURPOSE:To recover copper from waste liquor after chemical copper plating by an easy maintenance and control system without using a precipitation pool by making the waste liquor alkaline, adding a reducing agent, introducing the resulting soln. into a tank packed with copper plates. and depositing copper on the copper plates. CONSTITUTION:Sodium hydroxide as an alkali agent is added to waste liquor after chemical copper plating to adjust the waste liquor to about 10.5-13pH, and 3-10g/l formaldehyde or p-formaldehyde as a reducing agent is added. The resulting soln. is introduced into a tank packed with copper plates or plates each having a stuck copper film, and metallic copper is deposited on the copper plates by reduction at 30-70 deg.C temp. of the soln. Copper can be removed and recovered very easily from the waste liquor.</p> |
