PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory sealing effect even if the pressure in a hood is increased to the atmospheric pressure or above by supplying directly a sealing gas to the contact surface between a labyrinth sealing part which seals the insertion part of lance and a lance hole and lance cone. CONSTITUTION:A sealing box 19 is integrally provided atop a lance cone 12 and an inert gas (sealing gas) supply pipe 15 is directly connected to the box 12 and the cone 12. A downward ejecting hole 20 is provided in the corner part of the hole to be inserted with the lance 11 of the box 19. On the other hand, ejecting holes are provided like in the prior art on the joint surface between the labyrinth sealing part 13 of the cone 12 and a lance hall 17. A selaing gas is supplied from the pipe 15 to the box 19 as shown by an arrow A and flows like arrows G, D and further E, F. Then even if the pressure in the hood is increased to atmospheric pressure or above, a satisfactory seal is obtd. between the lance 11 and the cone 12 and the waste gas having high purity is obtd. |
