PURPOSE:To prevent an original from being staggered in the transverse direction, by a construction wherein a peripheral surface of a feeding roller is provided with projected parts along the circumferential direction at a predetermined interval, and an original is fed by guiding it between the projected parts. CONSTITUTION:The feeding roller 21 is so supported that it can not be rotated relatively to a shaft 7, and peripheral surfaces 10a of a plurality of idle rollers 10 rotatably supported on a shaft 8 make close contact with the peripheral surface 21a of the feeding roller 21a. The peripheral surface 21a of the roller 21 is provided with the projected parts 21b having a height H of about 1mm. along the circumferential direction of the roller 21 at predetermined intervals L, M, N, O. When the original 3 is fed by being clamped between the peripheral surface 21a of the feeding roller 21 and the peripheral surfaces of the idle rollers 10, it is guided between the projected parts 21b in accordance with each size width thereof, so that it is prevented from being staggered in the transverse direction. |
