摘要 PURPOSE:To rapidly execute position control with high accuracy by correcting the transportation speed for a material in correspondence with the speed deviation between a loop inlet-side roll and a loop outlet-side roll, when the position of a dancer roll in a continuous processing line is controlled. CONSTITUTION:In a loop apparatus consisting of a loop inlet-side rolls 2, dancer roll 3 and a loop outlet-side roll 4, the position of the dancer roll 3 for always storing a certain amount of material 1a is to be controlled. A position detector 21 is connected with each roll 2, 4 through a gear box 20 having a differential gear accommodated. The position of the dancer roll 3 is detected in correspondence with the speed deviation between the both rolls 2 and 4, and the first deviation is obtained by a deviation detector 13 according to the position detection signal and the standard position signal in a setting device 14. Then, the deviation between said deviation and the line-speed standard signal obtained by a setting device 17 is obtained by the second deviation detector 16, and a material transportation apparatus 5 is controlled by a speed controller 18 according to the deviation.
