<p>PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording sheet free of variations in color tone and excellent in water resistance and light resistance of printed images, by incorporating a water soluble tin salt in the surface of a recording sheet comprising a dye having at least one sulfonyl group. CONSTITUTION:The ink jet recording sheet used for recording by jetting an ink liquid comprises a dye having at least one sulfonyl group as a colored component together with water and a water-soluble organic solvent having a high boiling point, and a water-soluble tin salt is incorporated in the surface of the recording sheet. The tin salt may be sulfate [Sn(SO4)2], chloride [SnCl4], nitrate [Sn(NO3)4], phosphate, nitrite, sulfite, acetate or the like.</p> |
