PURPOSE:To keep always a reaction efficiency at a high level, by eliminating various factors to cause reaction efficiency, such as channelling phenomena of a circulation solution in a packed catalytic layer, rise in circulation resistance caused by clogging of the packed catalytic layer with time, etc. CONSTITUTION:The hollow shaft 1 is used as a through supporting shaft, the hollow interior of the reactor 5 of drum type to be rotated and driven round the shaft 1 is successively divided along the shaft line to form the plural chambers 9-12 to pack a catalyst, and the members 16 for closing the hollow shaft are set in the shaft 1 of hollow shaft parts corresponding to positions of the chambers to pack a catalyst. The through holes 17 are formed on the wall of the shaft 1 at positions closer to the feed inlet 3 of a raw material solution than the positions of the members 16, and the overflow pipe 18 of a circulation solution having the bottom end connected to the shaft 1 and the top end positioned at the tops of the chambers to pack a catalyst is set on the wall of the shaft 1 at positions closer to the outlet 4 of a prepared solution of the shaft 1 than the positions of the members 16. The members 19 for preventing flow of catalyst are set in such a way that they surround the top opening parts of the pipes 18, and the chambers to pack a catalyst are packed with the granular immobilized organism catalyst 20.
