PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition which can give a cured product free of an amine odor and excellent in stain, alkali, and weather resistances, by adding a polyepoxy compound to a specified vinyl polymer containing tert. amino groups. CONSTITUTION:A curable resin composition containing, as a base resin component, a tert. amino group-containing vinyl polymer obtained by effecting an addition reaction between a carboxylic acid anhydride group-containing vinyl polymer (a-1) and a compound having one prim. amino group and one tert. amino group in the molecule (a-2) and effecting the dehydrative condensation and formation of imide rings. As said compounds (a-2), N,N-dialkyl-1,3-propylenediamines can be suitably used because of the economy and curability of the composition. By adding an ultraviolet absorber, antioxidant, etc., to the above composition, it is possible to increase the weather resistance of a cured product.
