PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a keyboard device by producing plural pieces of the same data through operations of keys. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard device main body 1 contains key switches 3-1, ten- key 3-3, etc. together with a definition key 3-2 used when the number of zeros generated with operation of a zero input key 3-4 and a display device for zero number. This keyboard device produces the key code operated through a key data generating part 4 with operation of keys 3. This produced key code is stored in a memory part 7 and at the same time the number which prescribes the number of produced zeros in a counter area 6-1 of a RAM6. The display data on the number of generated zeros is stored in a display part 8. Thus zeros are produced in the number equal to those stored in the counter area within the RAM6 with operation of a zero key 3-2. These generated zeros are stored in a key code memory part 7. It is also available to set data other than zero.
