发明名称 EXTRACTING CIRCUIT FOR TIMING COMPONENT
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To extract a timing component with large output from an extremely fast input NRZ signal through a small-scale circuit by utilizing the reflection of a lambda/4 transmission line and the pinch-off characteristics of an FET. CONSTITUTION:When a waveform shown by a figure (a) is applied to an input IN, the FET1 outputs a waveform shown by (b). Further, the lambda/4 transmission line is connected to the output side of the FET1 and the other terminal of the lambda/4 circit is short-circuited, so a waveform (c) which is lambda/2 delayed appears and the differential waveform waveforms (b) and (c) are inputted to the FET2. This FET2 is so set that the part lower than a center level is pinched off, so a waveform (d) is rectified on half-wave basis and a waveform (e) is outputted from the FET2. For the purpose, this output is inputted to tank circuit to extract a frequency component of frequency (f).</p>
