In a dry-shaving apparatus comprising a shear section (20) and a comb-shaving section (21), the head member of the comb-shaving section, which member comprises a trough-shaped inherently rigid part (23), is rigidly connected to the head member of the shear section which comprises a shear foil (22). The working surface of the comb-shaving section (21) which projects laterally, directly adjoins the working surface of the shear section (20) with an obtuse angle, so that both shaving section (20, 21) can be used simultaneously. Furthermore, the cutters (24, 28) of the two shaving sections (20, 21) are combined to form a cutter unit by means of a reciprocatingly slidable support (32), the cutter (28) of the combshaving section (21), which is also formed as an inherently rigid part, co-operating with the support (32) of the cutter unit via at least one spring (35) (Figure 1).</p> |
