<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the overshoot of the output without disturbing the establishment of a voltage by providing a damping coil in the same magnetic path as an exciter coil and supplying the output of the exciter coil through a Zener diode to the damping coil. CONSTITUTION:Main and exciter coils 4, 5 are wound on a stator 7, an exciting coil 6 is wound on a rotor 8, and a damping coil 9 is wound in the same magnetic path as the coil 5. An automatic voltage regulator 2 compares the output voltage with a set value, and controls ON and OFF of a control transistor 18 to control a current supplied from the coil 5 to the coil 6. When the output voltage of the coil 5 increases the Zener voltage of a Zener diode 13 or higher, a current lows to the coil 9. Thus, the saturation of the stator core is accelerated to suppress the generated voltage.</p> |
