PURPOSE:To allow a moving body capable of self-run to detect securely an obstacle over a wide range by utilizing variations in stray capacity and resistance loss between the obstacle and a sensor. CONSTITUTION:Sense plates 3A and 3B are used as part of an oscillation element and a high-frequency oscillation circuit 4A is arranged between both plates and put in stable oscillating operation at an oscillation frequency equal to the resonance frequency between the plates 3A and 3B; and the plate 3A is alowed to function as an antenna. Further, the relay winding RY of a switch circuit 6 is excited according to the oscillation output to turn on a relay contact. This oscillation circuit 4A and switch circuit 6 constitute a sensor 20, which is mounted on the moving body 10. Then, when the moving body 10 approaches the obstacle, the oscillation frequency varies with the stray capacity and resistance loss between the obstacle and sense plates and the relay contact is broken, so that the moving body 10 stops. |
