PURPOSE:To detect excellently a flow of conveyed bodies through simple constitution by forming a convex lense for light emission and photodetection on facing surfaces of a transparent pipe integrally with a pipe. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 6 and a photodetecting element 7 and convex lenses 2a and 3a for them are formed on facing surfaces of the pipe 1 made of a transparent material wherein conveyed bodies flow integrally with the pipe 1. Therefore, wide emitted light passed through the lens 2a travels in the pipe 1 linearly and even a flow of a small quantity of conveyed bodies or deviating flow is detected excellently through the simple constitution. |
