PURPOSE:The titled flame-retardant composition obtained by adding an organic potassium phosphate, an aromatic phosphorous ester compound, an oligomer of 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylalkane, and an organosilicon compound to a specific polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. aromatic polycarbonate resin having 1.35-2.0 structural viscosity index and 20,000-40,000wt-average mol.wt., obtained by reacting 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylalkane as a main component with phosgene or a carbonic acid diester, is blended with (B) 0.001-1pt.wt. organic potassium phaophate shown by the formula [X1-X8 are H, halogen, acryl, (halogen-substituted aryl, or aralkyl], (C) 0.01-0.5pt.wt. aromatic phosphorous ester compound, (D) 5-20pts.wt. homo- or cooligomer of 4,4'-dihydroxy-diphenylalkane having 2- 10 polymerization degree and >=30mol% halide, and (E) 0-0.5pt.wt. organosilicon compound.
