PURPOSE:To obtain a filter high in space utilization and low in pressure loss without causing unstable performance by making practically a filter film made of paper which is arranged in a peculiar shape of all filter constituting materials. CONSTITUTION:Sealed ends of cells 4a which are formed with cellular striation workpieces 2 and paper 1a of the inside thereof are positioned at opening face opposite to opening, face at which sealed ends of cells 4b formed with cellular striation workpieces 2 and paper 1b of the outside thereof are positioned. Thus, since two kinds of cells existing in the same layer of laminated structural module have the different sealed ends, the sealed ends are reversed at the interval of 1/2 layer. This filter is manufactured by making one body of both paper 9 which has been treated with cellular striation work and is fed between stepped rolls 10, 11 and unworked flat paper 12 feeding between a stepped roll 11 and a press roll 13 while sticking a sealing compound and furthermore by winding up said body.
