<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of a predictive value and to improve the quality and yield of a product by installing crown detectors at the inlet and outlet sides of a final stand and installing further a shape detector at the outlet side. CONSTITUTION:Sheet crown detectors 4 for detecting the sheet crown of a rolling material are installed at the inlet and outlet sides of a final stand No.6, and a shape detector 5 doe detecting the flatness of material is installed at the outlet side of said stand No.6. And the output values CH, Ch of two detectors 4 and an output value (lambdal) of detector 5, and further an actual value of the stand No.6 and a shape-variation factor computed previously based on rolling conditions, are fetched in a computer 6. Computation is performed by the computer 6 based on the fetched data to identify a predictive equation. The error of the equation is minimized and the shapes, etc. between stands are prevented from deterioration, by using a correction factor of each influence factor for the setup.</p> |
