PURPOSE:To enhance light and formalin resistance, and color formation performance by incorporating at least one of 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-c]-S-triazole type magenta couplers each substd. by a secondary alkyl at the 6-position and a releasable group except H at the 7-position in a silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one of silver halide emulsion layers formed on a support in a silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-c]-S-triazole type magenta couplers each substd. by a secondary alkyl at the 6-position and a releasable group except H at the 7-position. The substitution of such groups at such positions permits light resistance to be greatly enhanced and high color formation performance to be achieved. |
