PURPOSE:To easily position an overlay by setting the discrepancy of a prescribed frame against its adjusting position in one direction by positioning the prescribed frame of the overlay to the adjusting position from one direction. CONSTITUTION:A overlay 1 provided with frames C1, C2... and position detecting markers M1, M2... corresponding to each frame is driven by means of a driving means. A position detecting means 5 which detects a prescribed frame is installed to one side of an adjusting position. If the position detecting means 5 detects one position detecting marker when the overlay 1 is scanned in the direction shown by the arrow F1, the running of the overlay 1 is stopped. Moreover, if it is detected that one position detecting marker has passed the position detecting means 5 when the overlay 1 is scanned in the direction shown by the other arrow F2, the running direction of the overlay 1 is inverted and, when the position detecting means 5 again detects the position detecting marker, the overlay 1 is stopped. An optical processing section 2 is provided at the adjusting position of a prescribed frame. |
