PURPOSE:To shorten the time for storing Japanese by providing a searching function for the head of each line of Japanese. CONSTITUTION:A timepiece mode, time correction mode, memory reset mode, or memory readout mode is set with a button 4, and numbers and Japanese are inputted in set mode. Further, a key input part 2 is switched between a number input mode and a Japanese input mode with a button 5. The input part 2 has a forward button F for retrieval and a backward button B, and necessary characters are retrieved with the buttons F and B after the head of each line of Japanese is searched for and set in memory with the button 5. Then, when the storage contents are read out, the buttons 4 and 7 are operated and displayed on a display part 3. |
