PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of streaks on the cutting surface of a work in the case when the cutting work for a minute division is carried-out, by disregarding the cutting work for the minute division, in a wire electrical-discharge apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An NC tape memorizes the cutting data for the cutting divisions 17, 18 and 19 starting from an initial hole 16, and each cutting division 17, 19 ranges 5mum or more, and the cutting division 18 ranges 5mum or less. When the data for the division 17 is read from the NC tape, the transfer instruction value is compared with a standard value in a comparator 15, and a transfer instruction is sent into a driving motor 4 through a buffer 13 from the comparator 15 through an asynchronous circuit 10, reversible counter 9, and a DA conversion amplifier 8, and cutting operation is started. During the cutting work, the data for the next division 19 is read, and a transfer instruction is held in a buffer 14. Then, the data for the cutting division 19 is read, and the transfer instruction value for the new cutting division 20 is calculated and stored into the buffer 14, and after the cutting for the cutting division 17 is completed, the working for the cutting division 20 is started. |
