PURPOSE:To prevent a disc-like recording medium from being damaged by providing a holder with a holder hole for storing the recording medium and a disc receiving rib for supporting the recording medium at its peripheral edge with a fixed gap from the bottom of the hole. CONSTITUTION:A compact disc D is stored so as to be supported by the disc receiving rib 15 in the holder 15 stored in a case. Although the recording surface d1 of the compact disc D is turned to the lower direction, a gap (h) is formed between the compact disc D and the bottom 12b of the holder hole 12 because the compact disc D is supported by the disc rib 15. Consequently, the recording surface d1 is not contacted with the bottom 12b and prevented from damage.
