The invention relates to a method for preparing liposomes, which consists in forming, in a first step, a W/O type emulsion by dispersion of a first aqueous phase in a water-immiscible organic solvent in the presence of molecules composed of a lipophilic fraction and a hydrophilic fraction, characterised in that, in a second step, most of the organic solvent is removed from this emulsion by a gentle method, a concentrated W/O emulsion thereby being obtained, and then, in a third step, a second aqueous phase containing molecules composed of a lipophilic fraction and a hydrophilic fraction is added gradually to this concentrated W/O emulsion with stirring and the residual organic solvent is simultaneously removed by evaporation.
