This invention relates to a container with a tamper-proof lid comprising two handles formed in two walls of the basket facing each other and surrounded by an outwardly protruding rim 3-3', while the lid has at one end an extension 5 which has a generally T-shaped cross-section whose flanges 6-6' are folded in the form of hooks, whose hollow substantially corresponds to the thickness of the previously mentioned protrusion 3-3', such that the latter may be trapped in one of the previously mentioned hooks, the lid 4 having, at its opposite end, means of locking the lid with respect to the container. <IMAGE>
