PURPOSE:To make compression capacity controllable so substantially, by detecting pressure in a refrigerating cycle, while sliding a slide wall material forming a cylinder wall part of a compressor, and having gas in the midway of compression bypassed to the suction side. CONSTITUTION:Closing a first solenoid valve 30, when a second solenoid valve 32 is closed instead, back pressure in a slide wall material 14 drops to some extent whereby the slide wall material 14 is pressed by a spring 16, and a bypass opening 20 is thus opened to a cylinder part. As a result, refrigerant gas in the point midway in compression inside a cylinder is put back to the upstream side of an accumulator 27 at the suction side via a bypass pipe 31 so that compression capacity in a compressor is sharply dropped.
