PURPOSE:To form a gold film having high adhesive strength by applying liq. bright gold contg. gold to a titanium nitride film formed on the surface of a base material and by baking the liq. bright gold. CONSTITUTION:A titanium nitride film is formed by ion plating on the surface of the base material of each of external parts for a watch made of a very hard material such as stainless steel or tungsten carbide. Liq. bright gold is applied to the titanium nitride film and baked. By this method, external parts having high adhesive strength, superior corrosion and wear resistances and a gold color tone can be obtd. |
