MOLDING IMPROVER FOR ALLOY POWDER FOR PERMANENT MAGNET

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled improver having superior dispersibility in alloy powder and superior lubricity by selecting one or more kinds of compounds among polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers, polyoxyethylene monofatty acid esters and polyoxyethylene alkylallyl ethers. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of compounds selected among polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers, polyoxyethylene monofatty acid esters and polyoxyethylene alkylallyl ethers are used as a molding improver. Alloy powder for a permanent magnet contg. a rare earth element, B and Fe as principal components is mixed with the improver and molded. The improver is well dispersed in the alloy powder and has superior lubricity, reducing the friction on the inside surfaces of dies.
