PURPOSE:To make a relative contact motion between a driving machine shaft and a pump shaft preventable from occurring, by making a fit clearance of a fitting surface between a casing of the driving machine and a casing flange of the pump smaller than that of fitting surface between the pump shaft and the driving machine shaft. CONSTITUTION:A maximum fit clearance of a flange fitting part 5 for an oil pump to be coupled with a driving machine is set to be less than a minimum fit clearance of a shaft fitting part 6. Therefore, even if errors grows large in time of assembling the pump, an inner diameter of a hollow part 4a of a driving machine shaft 4 is in no case made contact with an outer diameter of a pump shaft 3 so that a relative contact motion on metallic surfaces of shafts themselves is no longer produced there, thus fretting fatique in these shafts is prevented from occurring as well.
