Auxiliary motor assisted motor vehicle door or flap lock

The lock on a motor vehicle door or bonnet has an auxiliary, pref. electric motor turning only in one direction, connected with a crank arm on the downdrive side. The arm is linked with the lock latch, for moving between an initial and a main closure setting. There is a disconnectable coupling (10) between the crank arm and/or activating rod (5) and lock latch (3). This is disconnectable by hand, pref. via a closing cylinder (2) from outside, and/or an activating lever from inside.
