ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin compsn. having uniform and good electrical conductivity, by melt-kneading a powdered thermoplastic resin having a specified average particle size with a metallic short fiber having a specified fiber diameter and a specified fiber length. CONSTITUTION:The titled compsn. is obtd. by melt-kneading 60-300pts.wt. powdered thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyamide, polyester or polyolefin) having an average particle size of 20 times or below the fiber diameter of metallic short fiber with 100pts.wt. metallic short fiber (e.g. brass, aluminum or stainless steel) having a fiber diameter of 100mu or below, a fiber length of 0.5-3mm. and a ratio of fiber length/fiber diameter of 200 or below. The compsn. has uniform and good electrical conductivity and can be molded into a final article by conventional injection molding method.
