PURPOSE:To quicken a rise of a flame at the time of ignition of a pressure spraying pot burner and to reduce a foul odor at the time of ignition, by a method wherein an upper air hole is made larger than a lower air hole as compared with the same, air supply paths of the upper and lower air holes are made to become independent of each other and air is supplied by concentrating the same into a lower air hole of the pot at the time of the ignition. CONSTITUTION:An opening and closing door 12 is in a closed state at the time of ignition, and when a combustion blower 10 is turned, air is supplied by concentrating the same in a lower air hole 1'' of a pot 2. As for an ignition operation, mistlike fuel is injected through a spray nozzle 4 while the combustion blower 10 is being turned and the mistlike fuel is ignited by forming a spark at the tip of a spark plug 8. The ignited mistlike fuel is entered into the pot 2 from a through hole 6, the mistlike fuel whose particles are large in their size are drained by coming into contact with cooled inside wall of the pot 2 and a flame expansion plate 3 and only the mistlike fuel whose particles are small in their size can keep the combustion on.
