PURPOSE:To detect a water current and prevent a discharging water from becoming unable to stop by installing a forming device, which makes small foams mixed uniformly in a running water and discharged, on a water discharging port part. CONSTITUTION:Many small foams are mixed in the current of a feed water by means of the action of a foaming device (f) installed on a water discharging port part 1. As a result, the surface of the current is ruggedly disturbed due to ruptured foams, etc. and, after a hand-washing is completed and a hand is drawn out of a space under the water discharging port part 1, even if a projected ray of light strikes on the discharged current, it is reflected diffusedly, without fear of being received by a photo detector 3. Or, if it takes an unusually longer time that is required for ordinary washing of hand or face, the feed water is automatically stopped after a forbidden time, even while the photo detector is sensing. |
