PURPOSE:To prevent fuel from leaking when a diaphragm is broken by holding a part of a cover wherein a valve, the diaphragm and so forth are disposed, and tightly closing the holed part with a bush of rubber possessing the resistivity to gasoline. CONSTITUTION:After fed into a fuel chamber 13 via an induction passage 15 and a passage 8, fuel is sent from an outlet passage 16. At this time, a valve 2 is lifted to absorb pressure and pulsation of fuel, and gasified fuel is penetrated into an air chamber 14 after passing through a diaphragm 1 made of rubber having the resistivity to gasoline. When fuel is saturated inside an air chamber 14, a fine quantity of the gasified fuel is discharged from a bush 7 which is made of the same material as of the diaphragm 1 and tightly closes the holed part 61 on a cover 6. On the other hand, if the diaphragm 1 is broken, fuel flows into the air chamber 14, however, the pressure of fuel acts on the bush 7 to be pushed against the cover 6, thereby preventing fuel from flowing outside. |
