PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily compensate the dynamic balance of a rotor for a supercharger, by providing a method of compensating the dynamic balance of a super charger rotor, in which a ring member for compensating the dynamic balance of the rotor is fitted in a hole in a rotor blade. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical ring member 38 for compensating the dynamic balance of a rotor 28 for a Roots type supercharger is fitted in a mass reducing hole 36 in the rotor 28. That is, a ring member 28 which is selected suitably to the measured rotational unbalance of the rotor 38, is press-fitted in the mass reducing hole 36 after the position of a small piece 40 is determined in consideration with the effect of dynamic balance compensation. Therefore, there is required no cutting work, etc. applied to a part of the rotor for compensation of dynamic balance. |
