PURPOSE:To obtain the titled product which has a metallic luster part and a color tone part of a base material and low manufacturing cost and is excellent in color tone by providing a dry type plated metallic layer on the base material so that the metallic layer is continued to the thickness of thick layer incapable of viewing through said base material side from the thickness of thin layer capable of viewing through said base material side. CONSTITUTION:A base coating layer 12 of synthetic resin material such as two-pack type urethane which is excellent in durability and adhesive property and if necessary, colored to an optical tint such as blue is provided on the surface of a resin base material 5 and a dry type plated metallic layer 13 is formed on said layer by sputtering or the like. In case of forming the plated metallic layer 13, the thickness of said metallic layer 13 is regulated with a method, etc. covering one part of said substrate 5 surface by a punching plate provided with suitable penetrated pore distribution so that the thickness of said layer is continued to 300-1,000Angstrom thickness of thick layer incapable of seeing through the tint of said base material 5 side from 10-300Angstrom thickness of thin layer capable of viewing through said tint. Furthermore, if necessary, a topcoating layer 14 of the same material as said base coating layer 12 is provided on the plated metallic layer 13. |
