The invention relates to a unit for exercising the calf muscles and hence for increasing the venous outflow in the lower extremities, comprising a plate-shaped part for the feet to be placed thereon which can be tilted like a rocker about a horizontal axis. According to the invention, the plate-shaped part is designed as a lid for a hollow body with the profile of an isosceles triangle; furthermore, the inner lid bordering and the bordering of the hollow body are provided with a groove and tongue structure permitting engagement of the lid.
