PURPOSE:To reduce wasteful power consumption by connecting in series the outputs of the stabilized first output circuit and quasi-stabilized second output circuit, and flowing a battery charging current to the choke coil of the first output circuit. CONSTITUTION:The second output circuit in which the output voltage is quasi- stabilized by the cross regulation with the first output circuit is connected in series with the first output circuit in which the output voltage is stabilized by a pulse width controller 12. A charting current for charging a battery 17 is flowed through the choke coil 7 of the first output circuit, the secondary winding N3' of the oscillating transformer 1, a diode 5' or 6', a choke coil 7' and a protective resistor 16 to the battery 17. Even when the load of the first output circuit is light, it is flowed to the coil 7, and the coil 7 is not cut off. Accordingly, the value of a bleeder resistor 11 can be increased. |
