PURPOSE:To provide the titled cosmetic for preventing the aging of the skin, exhibiting its effect in a short time, and having long-acting effect, by compounding a skin cosmetic base with a gamma-aminobutyric acid compound in combination with vitamin E orotate. CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic for preventing the aging of the skin can be prepared by compounding (A) a skin cosmetic base with (B) preferably 0.01- 25wt%, especially 0.05-1.0wt% one or more gamma-aminobutyric acid compound of formula (R1 and R2 are H or methyl; R is H, alkyl or alkenyl) (e.g. gamma-aminobutyric acid, N-methyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid, N-dimethyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid, their esters, etc.) and (C) preferably 0.01-25wt% vitamin E orotate. The cosmetic is absorbed safely in the skin, promotes the function of the skin by the peripheral vasodilating activity, prevents the wrinkles of the skin, and gives smoothness and moistness to the skin. |
