Travelling gear for rail vehicles

In order to improve the track-guiding property of the wheels of rail vehicles on a straight track and in bends in the track, so-called self-controlling individual wheels are expedient. The swivel movements which take place about vertical axes in each case of two wheels lying opposite one another, are coupled to one another here. The desired track-guiding effect is particularly effective if the swivel axes lie as far outside the wheels as possible. Particularly suitable embodiments of the associated travelling-gear structures are indicated.
