The invention relates to a device for suspending loads on mine-support channel sections (1), the channel of which is open towards the centre of the roadway, consisting of a cross piece (4) which runs transversely to the longitudinal direction of the channel section (1), bears against the two free legs (2) of the channel section (1), is longer than the width of the channel section (1) and is provided at its two outer ends with holes (8) for receiving clamping or retaining bolts (9). In order to make a suspension device of this type insensitive to force components acting in the longitudinal direction of the roadway, the invention proposes that the cross piece (4) have at least one longitudinal rib (5, 6) which projects in the direction of the channel section (1) and is provided with recesses (16) for the positive-locking accommodation of the free ends of the section legs (2) of the channel section (1). <IMAGE>
