A sheet-metal part, which is bent in a U-shape, has ventilation slots (2) and has drawn-up ends forms the housing (1) or the mounting rack for accommodating assemblies (10). The assemblies (10) can be pushed on to the pins (8) of a bus board (6), via guide rails (9). The plastic guide rails (9) can be latched into keyholes (16) by means of studs. The entire housing (1) can be assembled on the rear side or front side via lateral attachment brackets (3) which can pivot. Optionally, a mounting consisting of a bracket/profile-rail system (4, 5) can also exist. On its one side, the housing (1) has blocks (13) for accommodating busbars (14). <IMAGE>
