Device for stereoscopic image reproduction

In order to produce a stereoscopic effect, in particular in television sets and/or other image generators equipped or not equipped with cathode-ray tubes, a template is applied to the screen (or an equivalent device). Light channels of a specific degree of inclination in the template direct the light of the individual pixels of different images in different directions, optical separation of the simultaneously transmitted images being performed. The images respectively show the same subject at different angles (corresponding to the human interocular distance). The images can be seen in a defined range of distances from the screen and at a defined viewing angle which encompasses the entire size of the screen. By changing his position in the horizontal plane, the viewer can then respectively see another image or the image which analogously comes next. If he adopts an intermediate position, in which each eye sees a different image, he has a stereoscopic impression.
