PURPOSE:To finish the surface with high precision by cooling a composite material containing a material soft in normal temp. to provide low temp. brittleness to the soft material and polishing soft and hard both materials by the same means. CONSTITUTION:A sample piece 7 is made to a steel cord tire combined with rubber R soft in normal temp. and a steel wire S and formed, inserted to a lower part of a cap tire 3 and fixed thereto. Next, liquid nitrogen is poured in a vessel 1, and a lid 5 is covered, the temp. of the rubber R of the piece 7 is lowered to the brittleness temp., and said body is pushed to emery paper surface and slid. The rubber R in brittle state and the cord S are polished as one body and finished to smooth surface in which these are made even in the same plane. Thereby, the sample piece having even analyzing surface can be manufactured simply and the deterioration of the surface can be prevented. |
