The invention provides a method and a device for measuring the intensity of, e.g., electromagnetic radiation coming from the sun, it being possible to distinguish whether the radiation is irradiated directly or indirectly from the radiation source. In this case, measurement is made of the temperature of the outside air and of the temperature change caused in a body by direct irradiation, and the two temperatures are compared with one another in an electronic circuit.
