The invention relates to a device for transmitting information via supply lines in the case of battery-operated vehicles which are connected to a supply point (docked), in order to charge the batteries. The measurements for the terminal voltage of the batteries are coupled in on the vehicle side on the incoming and outgoing lead for the charging current, via coupling elements, are coupled out on the side of the stationary charging apparatus and are supplied to the charging apparatus as control signals for the battery charging current. The information can be converted into radio-frequency signals by means of a voltage/frequency converter and can be coupled in or out on the supply lead, via coupling capacitors. Decoupling elements can be provided between the battery and the coupling-in point on the vehicle side and between the charging apparatus and the stationary coupling-out point. The device according to the invention allows the charging current of the batteries to be regulated in an optimum manner. The sliding contacts on a supply point for the transmission of the terminal voltage can be dispensed with.
