PURPOSE:To test a half duplex communication controller in a short time with a simple constitution by receiving and storing transmission information from the data communication controller having a half duplex constitution and turning back this transmission information to said controller after a transmission end signal and displaying transmission information. CONSTITUTION:A frame, which is shown in the figure, transmitted from a communication controller 10 as a test object is transmitted to a reception control part 21 of a test auxiliary device 20, and the control part 21 detects the end of this frame to report the end to a transmission control part simultaneously with writing of the frame in a transmission information storage part 24. Then, the transmission control part 22 reads out received information in the storage part 24 and transmits it to a signal line 31, and the controller 10 receives it. A transmission information display part 23 reads out said information and displays it. The controller 10 compares transmission information with received information to discriminate whether its own transmission and reception functions are normal or not. If both information do not coincide with each other, the transmission function is judged to be normal but the reception function is judged to be abnormal when display contents of the display part 23 coincide with transmission information. |
