PURPOSE:To provive the titled remedy containing MAO (dried stalk and leaf of Ephedra sinica, a plant of Ephedraceae family) and CHIYU (dired root of Sanquisorba officinalis, a plant of Rosaceae family). CONSTITUTION:MAO and CHIYU are mixed together at a retio of 1-10:10-1, and further compounded with a carrier, vehicle, diluent, substrate, etc., to obtain the objective remedy of wound to be applied externally to the wound in the form of ointment, liquid, powder, plaster, etc. The amounts of MAO and CHIYU to be compounded to the base are 0.1-20wt% and 0.1-50wt% for dried powder, and 0.01-10wt% and 0.05-40wt% for extract, respectively. Dose: 5-500mg of the sum of both components daily for dried powder, and 2-100mg for extract in 1-3 divided doses. |
