发明名称 TREATMENT OF MERCURY-CONTAINING WASTE WATER
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently remove mercury, by applying oxidizing treatment to waste water after vaporization treatment of mercury to convert mercury to ionic mercury while applying reducing treatment to ionic mercury to form metal mercury and returning the waste water after treatment to the mercury-containing waste water reducing treatment process. CONSTITUTION:Mercury-containing waste water is introduced into a reductive reaction tank 1 and subjected to reducing treatment by a reducing agent to convert ionic mercury in the waste water to metal mercury while the treated waste water is introduced into a vaporization apparatus 2 where vaporizing gas is blown into the waste water to perform gas-liquid contact treatment and metal mercury is allowed to follow the vaporizing gas. This vaporizing gas is guided to a cooler 3 to transfer mercury to the condensate which is, in turn, subjected to solid-liquid separation in a solid-liquid separation tank 4 to recover metal mercury. An oxidizing agent is added to the vaporization treated water from the vaporization apparatus 2 in an oxidizing tank 6 to apply oxidizing treatment to said treated water and, thereafter, the oxidized waste water is guided to a reducing tank 7 where reducing treatment is performed by a reducing agent to neutralize the oxidizing agent. A part of the waste water, to which reducing treatment is applied in the reducing tank 7, is returned to the reductive reaction tank 1.
