PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization and the reduction in weight of the titled device by a method wherein the load voltage of a transistor TR is kept to less than a prescribed value by controlling the gas pressure of a laser tube, and the reduction in gas of the laser tube due to the action of gas clean-up produced by arc discharge is automatically corrected. CONSTITUTION:One output end of the laser power source of the titled device is connected to the cathode 3 of the laser tube 2, and the other output end to the anode 4 of the tube 2 via transistor TR9 and current detection resistor 7. The ON operation of this power source 1 causes discharge between the anode 4 and the cathode 3 of the tube 2 and leads to laser oscillation by means of photo resonators 5 and 5'. A TR load voltage detection circuit 18 is connected to this TR9 and the resistor 7, and the output voltage of the circuit 18 is risen when the discharge voltage due to the clean-up of the tube 2 falls. A motor cylinder drive circuit 17 is operated on the output of this circuit 18, and the load voltage of the TR9 is adjusted by tightening the bellow section of a gas reserver 15, resulting in the rise in discharge voltage; thus contriving the miniaturization and the reduction in weight of this device. |
