PURPOSE:To make high-precision track positioning possible by connecting two parallel beam-shaped members, which supports a gimbals part, with reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:A pressure spring part 26 which is preliminarily subjected to bending is formed between two beam-shaped members 25a and 25b, and a head slider 11 is pressed to a magnetic disc medium with a proper load through a pressure arm 41 consisting of a rigid body which is stuck to the spring part 26 by, for example, welding. A stainless steel or the like is used as materials of two-shaped members 25a and 25b, a gimbals part 21, and the pressure spring part 26, and they are formed to one body as a pressure supporting body 20 by press punching. An approximately cross-shaped reinforcing material 61 is joined to beam-shaped members 25a and 25b, and thereby, the rigidity in directions (x and y directions) parallel with the disc medium of the pressure supporting body 20 is increased. |
